New Life Chapel began as a dream in the hearts of our Lead Pastors, Michael and Janah Williams, several years ago while they were on staff at a church in South Georgia. The calling was clear, and after much prayer and planning, they moved to Madison, Alabama to launch New Life Chapel. They moved in the Summer of 2017, and launched New Life Chapel with a team of 35 people in January of 2018. They had 150 people at their first service, and since then God has continued to grow the congregation.

Our heart for this city is that through this church, there would be “New Life” where there have been dead, dry places.

“Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again… I will put breath into you, and
you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”
(Ezekiel 37:5-6)

We want to see people come together as a community so that they can have a fellowship of believers to do life with. We know that life can
get hard, so we want to offer a place where
life comes together.

“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together… especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
(Hebrews 10:24-25)

We believe that church is about so much more than just watching someone speak, and listening to music. We want this church to be a place where people feel God’s prince through authentic, true worship where everyone is engaged. Whether that be in a small group, a large worship service, or one on one time
with people.

“They that worship him, must worship him
in spirit and in truth.”

We believe that God has existed for eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.

We believe in one God, existing eternally in three persons, identified as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and referred to as the Holy Trinity. We understand the words “trinity” and “persons,” when used of God, as expressions of our understanding of what the scriptures teach regarding the being of God. We understand the triune God as one being in three persons.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that He was crucified, buried, raised from the dead the third day, that He ascended to Heaven, and is today at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person in the Holy Trinity. The Holy Spirit’s presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

The scriptures teach that water Baptism is immersion in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Since our Lord commanded it, we believe it should be observed. It is to be understood as an act of faith and testimony subsequent to regeneration and as an outward sign of the inward spiritual work brought about in our hearts through the new birth.

(Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38, 39; 10:48; 22:16; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Galatians 3:27)

The scriptures teach that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is that enduement with power that results from the Holy Spirit coming upon the believer after regeneration. It is promised to all believers. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:5-8; 2:38, 39; 5:32). We can distinguish indwelling of the Spirit and baptism in the Spirit by noting the experience of the apostles recorded in John 20:19-23 when the Lord Jesus breathed the Spirit into them and then noting their baptism in the Spirit as He came upon them in Acts 2:1-4. This profound experience is therefore distinct from, in addition to, and subsequent to regeneration or the new birth. We believe that this is a gift from God, and is meant to strengthen your walk with Christ.
